Corryong College has a number of students undertaking Student Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs). A School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship allows secondary students to do paid on-the-job training that leads to a qualification while completing their studies at school. A student does one day of training with the employer and six hours of theory (TAFE modules) per week. SBATs cover a wide range of jobs and industry areas including hospitality, agriculture, construction, engineering, community care and business.
